It’s that time of year again. That’s right, it’s fundraising season! I can almost hear the collective groans of those that attend events on a seemingly weekly basis. Yes fundraising requests never really stop but now is the time of year when they pick back up and in full force.
People will be bombarded with Night at the Races tickets, 50/50 raffle tickets, popcorn sales, TV raffles and a myriad of other sales tactics. They will come from every angle work, school, their kids and other relatives. Being to kind to say no to little kids or great causes they will begrudgingly buy those tickets. These folks are hit up year after year month after month for their hard earned money. We personally have been to countless number of painful events and spent untold fortunes on raffle tickets.
We decided that it doesn’t have to be that way, that it shouldn’t be that way! The people that are donating their money and time deserve better than being treated like cash cows getting milked every month. They deserve to at least get something small in return for their generosity. Our response to this call is Game Show Night!
Game Show Nights are interactive evenings where people get to cut loose have a good time. We get the up and out of their seats with Game Show style games. Guests have opportunities to win cash and prizes all while being entertained buy us, the Game Show Guyz. During one of our events people may get called up to play any one of our games like Name That Tune, Newlywed Game or even life sized Hungry Hungry Hippo. If they can’t or do not want to participate in the physical games they will definitely be entertained by the spectacle. Not to mention there are plenty of ways to participate that don’t require a lot of physical activity such as side boards, raffle baskets or our bead game.
We understand that when folks buy a ticket to a fundraising event that night may be the only time they get an adult evening that month. The Game Show Guyz will at the very least make it memorable and entertaining. We can’t guarantee they will win prizes but we can make sure they have fun. That’s definitely a lot more than they will get a reverse raffle.
Oh and by the way…when your guests have a memorable time at an event they tend to come back the following year and bring their friends. We see it all the time.
